These Free People ladies are ready for the warm weather but too bad it's snowing outside! The store is completely decked out for the spring. We have loads of new merchandise from Free People, French Connection, LA made, James Jeans, Hoss, and Kensie.

Joli Jewelry

Spring time in Vermont- the snow is melting, the birds are chirping, and the hope for warm weather is growing. Joli Jewelry always reminds me of spring. It adds that punch of color in an otherwise drab season.

Kathy's birthday

An entry from my friend and guest blogger- Sareet:

Leah and Rachel planned the most fabulous birthday surprise for Kathy (yes, she only looks 30 the b#%*h!). It started with a surprise fashion make-over at Sweet Lady Jane. Rachel had Champagne and great outfits packed into the dressing room when Kathy arrived. I contributed shoes to the dressing room and brought my big ass camera. We even caught passer's by whispering things like "is that that girl, from that show?" Kathy was a trooper, we expected at least a bit of kicking & screaming but none. She looked great in everything she tried on. Once we had a shopping bag full for her to take to NYC, it was off down the road to Tilley's Cafe for a great evening of drinks and fantastic food. The low lighting made it hard for me to paparazzi to my best ability, but here's what I came up with. What a fun night...

in this week. It's so perfect that
it looks like it's always been there. I will update you soon on all of the new goodies that we got in this week. Hint... jewels from David Aubrey, more from Hoss, Level 99 linen pants, and Free People tank tops. Now- if only spring would come!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

OK, so its St. Patrick's day and none of us are wearing green. A huge oversight on our part. Erin Go Bragh!

Ellie (pictured in the front- right), from Teremark, took the Burton's web developer crew out for drinks. I got to tag along and enjoyed some "mini Guinness" shots and good company at Halvorsons.

First coat

The first coat of stain went down yesterday. They'll be putting 2 more down today and we move back in at 7am on Thursday!

We got in a lot goodies over the break. Stop down and check it all out this weekend.

The lady is getting a facelift

We spent Sunday night ripping apart the store and getting it ready for the new jewelry cases and floor overhaul. It's shocking to see it go from full and lovely to the bare bones.

They sanded the floors today and will apply the first coat of stain tomorrow. Ed also said that the custom cases built by John, are awesome. I can't wait to see them!

Saja for the spring

There are a lot of lovely neutrals this spring. This collection from Saja arrived this week. Both the dress on the far and the members jacket next to it are made from cotton sateen. The tuxedo blouse is a cotton silk blend and the trench is a coated cotton. All of the pieces have such clean lines. I want one of everything!

Sweet Lady Jane's birthday

Sweet Lady Jane is turning 5 next month! To celebrate this event, we'll be doing some shop renovations. Everything (including already reduced merchandise) is now on sale from March 6-9th. This is a major sale.

We will be closed March 10-12th. We are getting the floors redone and stained a shade darker. I think it's going to be amazing. There are other plans in the works, so stay tuned.
